Service Agreement

By submitting your deposit, you agree to the following terms of service.

  • All quotes are based on current material and labor costs at the time they are issued. Due to frequent fluctuations in material pricing, any quote provided more than 14 days before the project start date is subject to change. Labor pricing will remain fixed as long as the scope of work does not change. Material costs, however, may be adjusted if there are significant market increases. I will make every reasonable effort to honor the original quoted price, and any necessary changes will be communicated in advance with an updated estimate for approval.

  • 25% due at the time of scheduling.

Entire remaining balance is due upon completion.

  • Change Orders: Any changes to the scope of work, including but not limited to additional work, substitutions, or deletions, must be documented in a written Change Order signed by both the Contractor and the Owner.

Change Orders shall include a description of the change, any additional cost, and adjustments to the project schedule.

All approved Change Orders will be billed at the cost of labor and materials plus an additional 15% to account for inefficiencies, scheduling impacts, and potential project delays resulting from the change.

Verbal agreements shall not be recognized or enforceable; all changes must be documented in writing to be valid.

  • Termination for Cause:
Either party may terminate this Agreement immediately upon written notice if the other party materially breaches any term of this Agreement, including failure to perform work timely or make required payments.

    Termination for Convenience:
Homeowner may terminate this Agreement for any reason or no reason by providing 14 calendar days written notice to Contractor. Upon termination for convenience, Contractor shall be entitled to payment for all work satisfactorily performed up to the termination date, as well as reimbursement for any non-cancellable commitments or materials ordered in good faith for this project. Contractor shall use reasonable efforts to mitigate costs.
If the Agreement is canceled before work begins, any deposit paid to secure scheduling shall be forfeited due to lost time on Contractor’s calendar.

    Mutual Termination
: This Agreement may be terminated at any time by mutual written consent of both parties. Upon mutual termination, the parties shall agree in writing on any final payments, disposition of materials, and any other terms necessary to effect an orderly conclusion of the project.

    Effect of Termination:
Upon termination for any reason, Contractor shall promptly cease all work and shall deliver to Homeowner all completed work, materials, plans, and documents. Homeowner shall pay Contractor all amounts due for work performed prior to the termination date. Neither party shall have any further obligation to the other, except for obligations that expressly survive termination.
